Tucker-Castleberry Printing adds another ROLAND 700 to its Atlanta Pressroom.
1/22/07 Tucker-Castleberry Printing installed a new six-color MAN Roland 700 41-inch press, complete with inline coater and an extended delivery. That configuration matches the company's other two ROLAND 700s, giving Tucker-Castleberry pressmen extraordinary flexibility in assigning presses to jobs.
But there are more significant reasons Tuck Tucker, the company's president, keeps buying ROLAND 700s. "There's no better press on the market," he declares.
With advancements like the Printnet operating and automation system, the latest generation of ROLAND 700s support Tucker's claim with improved performance.
"These new MAN Roland presses are 20% more productive than the ones made just six or seven years ago," he says. "Their make-readies and run rates are so much faster that we'll be able to get more out of our plant than ever before. The new ROLAND 700 will make Tucker-Castleberry even more competitive in going after jobs and ultimately help our customers in cost, speed and quality."
